USWNT Ticker Tape Parade in Manhattan

The US Women's National Team was greeted in lower Manhattan this morning with a ticker tape parade on the "Canyon of Heroes" to celebrate their championship win in the 2019 Women's World Cup.
As the parade floats made their way up Broadway, thousands of devoted fans chanted "USA!! equal pay" in support of their world champion athletes.

The concert opened with Paloma Dineli Chesky, eleven years old of Brazilian origin, who was chosen from the Very Young Composer's Program of the New York Phiharmonic to perform her own composition "Rising" was one of the featured program performances.

The event held at the Noumburg Bandshell in Central Park sponsored by Intesa Sanpaolo, Alexander Bodini Foundation, Bel Real Estate Group, Brooks Brotherss, ENI, FIAC, ACP Group.

  Surf Avenue set the stage for one of New York's City's most creative, eclectic, and vibrant parades  yesterday at Brooklyn's iconic Coney Island for the 37th annual Mermaid Parade 2019. With over 800,000 in attendance, The Mermaid Parade celebrates the beginning of summer in New York City with some of the most vibrant and creative parade pageantry.

A seminar on domestic violence and immigration measures taken in case of spousal sponsorship, where said spouse is violent, held at the Brazilian Consulate in NYC. The panel had several guests, including Brazil's top model turned activist, Luiza Brunet, as well as attorneys advising on the abused's legal rights, including Peter Cedeno, former ADA for the NY County District Attorney's office and Michelle Viana, of Viana Law Firm P.C.,  plus representatives from Safe Horizons and Hope's Door. This is a vital subject matter, bringing to light and de-stigmatizing a phenomenon that has festered in darkness from generation to generation, where shame was accepted and no support was offered because it wasn't a subject for discussion, even from mother to child, strictly along the female genetic tree.
